I just got this Prayer Plant from someone. Any recommendations on how long can I leave it in water? And why are the leaves getting brown from the ends? Thank you in advance. :) - a relatively new plant parent

3 new plants and a new setup as well, considering getting grow lights since the window in this room doesn’t get a whole lot of light. Just sharing my newest babies!
Does this ponytail palm need repotting? If so should I wait until winter is over to do it? I've also noticed a bit of white on the root - what causes this? Cheers!
My favorite. I’ve had her for around two years ☺️🥳😅 she has been nice to me 🙏🏼 growing so beautifully 🥰 (Click/tap on the “Pretty Monstera” below for more pictures)

Really proud of my ~1 year old Jade plant. He’s been doing so well during this Midwestern winter, albeit a little etoliated at the top. ☺️
I love walking into my bathroom on a late sunny afternoon and seeing my micans catching the rays. 💚❤️💚

Re-potted my aloe. Have had her for 6 years and she is getting so big and beautiful.
My Philodendron white princess has a beautiful new leaf coming in! 🤍🥰
been thinking about a yucca for a while, I saw this beauty in the shop and couldn’t not 😍 my mom told me after I left the shop that my dad bought her a yucca when they were young, he had it shipped from quite a distance and he LOVED IT, this means so much to me as he passed away a couple of years ago, it has a special place not just in my lounge but my heart 😂❤️ ps my living room is very bright but it’s not in front of a window, will it be okay here?
One of my newest editions - variegated string of pearls 😍
My plant babies: Mike (Fiddle), Lu (Monstera), and Og (Snake) plus my newest addition Fernita Bonita (Boston Fern) 🥰
Little growth update… she’s almost 3 years old 🥰
All my babs seem to be giving me new leaves, my crystal noid seems to be putting out two new leaves so not long till I get an inflorescence I feel, Besse x Forgetti doing super well, baby lux is doing really well growing back, and my pap FINALLY put out a new leaf so it should be really cool to see :)
My mom’s monstera has new leaves!!! Can’t wait for mine to continue to grow.
before and after pruning my Swedish Ivy. It’s been looking so blegh and looks SO much better after a good trim.
Accidentally bent the stem of my elephant ear and lost this guy😞 is there anyway I can propagate this cutting??
I got these two hoyas about 4 months ago. Hoya ilagiorum and Hoya Neo-ebudica are easy care plants for me. It is easy to overlook them because they are not dramatic. I’ve kept them on the drier side this winter because I have a history of overwatering in colder months. 😩 Both hoyas are doing well. Only a little dryness in both. Temperatures in my area are rising. I’ve increased the watering frequency, fertilizing and increased the time the grow light is on (12 hours). New growth is showing on all my hoyas including these two.
Hello all ❗️My name is Brii! I'm a 32yr old mom of 4boys❗️🥰Im new here and a fresh plant parent. I was given my first houseplant after a family funeral. I enjoy gardening, DIY, Meditation, Mindfulness, Nature and learning new things! 📸This is my baby, "Kant Akt Wright", a peace lily. If anyone has any tips, ✍🏽🗒I would be so grateful. Also, I’m looking for recommendations of house plants that will go well with this one. I’m located in East Central Indiana if that helps. thanks in advance. I hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday. 😊🌿🌵🎍💐👩🏽🌾🦋
