Wanted to show the blooms from the Bear Paw Cactus branches I bought off of Etsy, but they tragically snapped off on the trip through the mail 😢 Thought I’d show the review photos I took for the 3 Etsy sellers I bought from to make my combined Bear Paw Cactus instead. The first two are from Mirageofeden, the third photo is from QueenOfSucculents, and the fourth is from JaquelineHomeGarden, who included a lovely free gift in a starter Panda Plant 😊 Queen of Succulents had by far the most careful packaging to help it survive the trip through the mail. Mirage of Eden’s cactus would probably be my top pick, as it arrived bare roots in the mail last week with the blooms and didn’t lost a single leaf. Just the two flowers. The colors on the leaves are very vivid and I was so excited to see it had bloomed. That seller also offers options in soil, but I risked the bare roots option as the potted option was out of stock. JaquelineHomeGarden was the first seller I used, and her cactus arrived fairly well as well. I was very impressed with them all given that they all came from California and 2 of them were going through the mail in OCTOBER to PA, but I’d definitely recommend Mirage of Eden’s cacti if you’re looking for one of these cuties to add to your collection 😊

Me and my grandma saved this tiny pitcher plant that was dying. It has good new growth at the top and we are both experienced with carnivorous plants. It was on clearance for a dollar. I am hoping for the best with this little one!

This is my orchid that I saved from my grandmothers house. My grandma died a year and a half ago now from cancer and she had a more than a couple plants in her house that were neglected for months because she came to live me and my family before she died. A lot of them didn’t make it through those months but her orchids were in ok shape I was only able to take one home which is the one I have I call her sweet tart which is a play on my grandmas nickname which we only ever called her by “Sweetie”. This is sweet tarts second time staring to flower which I don’t doubt she will, her first flowering happened within a month of me taking her I was told then she’s probably doing that as a last chance before dying which made me feel pretty bad. But she didn’t die she thrived, even when all of her roots were rotted she kept pushing forward and I wanted to share that because in a way she symbolizes the grief I went through and she also deserves her spotlight.

My first grow tent was getting crowded so time for a second one! The goal will be to get Ikea cabinets at some point but honestly this tent was so easy to set up! (Although not as pretty)
