Ordered this philodendron joepii and the shipment was caught in the winter weather for two days longer than intended. Chemical hot back and styrofoam seem to have been inadequate. 🙃 Big big chops, supports, and a small heating pad. Not giving up yet.
Growing out our hair 😍
Ok Target! I wasn’t expecting to stumble upon an Angel Leaf Caladium and a Velvet Calathea when I went to get more paper towels 😅
My current favorite plants in my collection 🤩
Added some more Platycerium staghorn fern species to my collection. I have ordered from a neat Etsy shop twice now, that goes above and beyond to package them so well despite the frigid temps here in Canada. I now have 6 different types. I really like mounting them as it ends up looking like an art piece too. I also highly recommend this plastic cage I tried for the first time on one. Perfect for anyone new to mounting staghorn ferns for sure!! If you are in Canada and interested in checking out the Etsy shop it is called FormosaImportsCA.

I noticed a new leaf popping today with my bird’s nest snake plant. So cute!
My cool rat tail cactus
Wait, is my Thanksgiving cactus blooming? Is it a New Year cactus? Should I show it a calendar?
Nothing better than a pot upgrade 🤩
Got this plant last summer and it’s doing better now that it’s under a grow light. Hope it grows some new leafs. Not sure what the plant is though. The plant to the right is one of my favorite plants it’s so easy to care for since it will tell me what it needs. I rescued it last spring summer from Walmart it had no pot just soil, I have no idea what this plant is. Would love to hear what you think both plants are!!
ahhh. i couldn’t be happier. 🥹
(I think) My Croton Mammi is growing another stem!
