I just want to rant about my plants rq! I’ve always loved plants but only in this past year have I found out how to properly care for them. This past year has been the craziest year of my life with so much change and yet I’ve found so much comfort in taking care of my plants. Even when I can’t quite tell what’s wrong with my plant and I have to play scientist to run all my tests to find the issue, I don’t get annoyed because it takes my mind off any lingering stress from the day. It’s so incredible to see visual confirmation that I’m taking good care of them. I get really scared of change in my life, but I think I can learn something from my plants and remind myself that change isn’t always bad and can actually bring new growth. I guess it’s not that deep, but alas I am just a girl.. I refuse to not find symbolism in everything!

My mom built me my plant corner!!!! The top shelf is all propagation!!!! I’m so happy to have this for my little babies!!!

This Spring we moved from a 1800 sq ft home to a 700 sq ft condo. My plants have been through a lot. Most have survived but others have not. I created this wall for most of my plants. My biggest loss was my prayer plant soon to be followed by my Thanksgiving Cactus. I am trying everything but leaves just keep falling off. On the other hand my Monstera loves it here!! It is climbing all over the shelves.

Okay I know I said I wouldn’t get anymore plants this weekend but after universal yesterday my fiance noticed I had propped my moms Christmas cactus so he asked if I wanted to go to Lowe’s and we also ended up at Walmart. The monstera I got for a steal! $4 dollars!!!
