One of my favorite spots. I just unearth the plant light in my coat closet. Itâs been there fora few years, never opened. I thought I didnât have a space large enough for it, turns out it fits perfectly here. I love how directional it is.

Do you think this combination of my love of plants with my love of vintage pottery works well together? Opinions welcome. To be historically accurate, Iâd need to put a philodendron or fern in this McCoy Pottery planter from ~1949. For now, it has my collection of air plants. Still trying to decide if I like them together.

This was my first plant. It may sound odd but itâs always been easy to care for and was surprisingly forgiving as I made mistakes early in my plant journey. Iâve overwatered it, used fertilizer sticks, under fertilized, repotted it into too large of a pot when it was small. Yet it persevered.
First keiki! This plant has come so far in a year!
