Sometime ago I uprooted my Alocasia and put her in water with a few Pothos cuttings. She never grew more than two leaves at a time, and the biggest leaf was no more than 2 inches long, with a stem no longer than 6 inches. Well it’s been a couple months now and she has shed all the old leaves, her roots are like a mile long, and she gave me a new leaf! 3”, on like 8” of stem! And she’s making a corm down there!

I was four days late to watering and I thought this was the final straw but 12 hours later my velvet calathea is perfectly fine. Biggest drama queen ever
I definitely think it was time for a repot! 😬 But she looks happy now ❤️

My dad is obsessed with my albo, so I decided to get him his own! Got this pretty baby on fb marketplace and it’s already unfurling a new leaf!
Spa day! 🛁 🪴 Sometimes I think “I don’t have THAT many plants,” and then I fill my bathtub up with plants three times over (and that’s just the ones small enough to fit in the tub!)

Do you ever have that plant you make eye contact with and just start smiling…this is her for me. She sits delicately in a mirror wall box in the bathroom and I love how the variegated string of hearts drapes down like little tend trills of curls around her face.
Look at the beauty I scored! There is one leaf that I’m tempted to chop, the one resting on the sill, but I don’t know. If the leaf doesn’t have support it falls and it’s yellowing. Ideas? Just got her today.
