Gah.
Started this guy from a propagated two leaf, 3 in pot I bought from a college kid for $5. Proud of the progress in 6 months!
New rehab plant from a big box storeâs clearance rack. I removed a couple of dead leaves and cut a couple of dying leaves. Looks great now!

Friend gave me this plant. Does anyone know what itâs called?
I am pleased to introduce two of my favorite plants!. These are syngonium podophyllum Albo variegatum, âMarble,â one of the most underrated arrowheads out there because you have to see it up close to understand why âstunningâ is the best description for this variety. I bought the larger one in the 3.5â pot about 5 months ago to add to my syngonium collection and it was on sale online at Steveâs Leaves. I liked it so much that I bought a second smaller one a month later online at Gabriella Plants. I was slow to repot because both plants are flourishing in the pudding cup nursery pots! So, why mess with it? These are great because they havenât shown brown tips and no yellowing in the months I have had them. The larger one has several vines and regularly put out new leaves that are unique. Itâs like the plant is trying to come up with as many color and pattern mutations as it can think up. So, itâs a delight to see what will unfurl. The solid white half moon sections are a crisp clean white that shows well next to the variegated and emerald green areas. Itâs nicknamed Syngonium White Knight Albo for a reason! There are gray olive colors blended with in as well. You just have to see it!
This is my favorite spot with plants. The jade is a clone if you want to call it that. It came from one Iâve had for 27 yrs. I want it to be more of a tree so Iâm going to cut some of the longer ones to hopefully make it more bushy. The violets the same. The orchid is young a gift of 3 yrs. Then the others something new Iâve never tried
Let me tell you about the journey Iâve had with this Anthurium Besseae I brought home from a plant sale at the local botanical garden. Its old leaves were not handling the acclimation well and started slowly crisping over the course of a couple months. Meanwhile it gave me an inflorescence, an extremely damaged leaf (you can see it in the background), and then another inflorescence. Things were not looking good. I upped the humidity to 80% and then like magic this gorgeous leaf bigger than my head appeared. Sheâs still growing and hardening off. Persistence is key in finding the ideal growing conditions, my friends! What do you think of her?
Juanita post, she took a bit to figure out but now she keeps growing and almost looks like a heart
This leaf knows itâs my favorite đ

Made three more little jar terrariums over the weekend. Iâm obsessed now đ. Hopefully these do well over time, Iâm still learningâŠ
With so many ants in the house and no plan for slowing down on my acquiring adventures, Iâve also really started to focus on the aesthetics of the different areas âșïž finally got my cleaned and made it a happy place to be again!
