Pruning this beauty today
BABES!! My Alocasia leaf came in! Iâm so happy! Rescued from a grocery store, it had one leaf that was turning brown, I brought it home didnât know anything about these, and just put it in my west facing window. I watered it on time, and I also added a mist of water every so often to help it stay humid, it sat next to a fish tank too. I donât know if I did what I needed to but it helped. Iâm so happy!! The dying leaf looks healthier then it did when I got it now that the dying part is clipped off, I cleared it out to help keep it from killing the whole plant and once I did that it started growing its new leaf!
Repotted this big girl. â€ïžđȘŽ

I need help. I pulled this out of a dumpster years ago and it had already been badly pruned and abused. Itâs been going strong for me for years but in the last few has gotten leggy and now the middle part is kinda knotted. Iâve pruned some branches back that were earlier to see where a node is and had success. I want to prune these two leggy branches WAY back but Iâm scared and I donât know how far back I can prune it. Any one been through this? Any advice is welcomed! I can add more pics if itâs too hard to tell from these.
Passion flower bloom from the tropical house đđ
My dad gifted me this beautiful Marbled Peperomia Obtusifolia. Only trouble is I donât know what to name her. Any ideas? So far Iâm leaning towards Andi, Kiwi, Indi, Pepper, Mia, or Ginger. TIA for any suggestions! (For reference, my other peperomia sheâll be sitting with are named Reyna (Raindrop peperomia), Wanda (watermelon Peperomia), Phoebe (first marbled peperomia obtusifolia), Izzy/Isobel (Peperomia clusifolia red margin), Sylvie/Sylvia (albovittata) and Penny (sweet and sour variegated obtusifolia)
