come back of the season! i got this christmas cactus for my friend, and she gave it to her roommate to watch over during winter break. when i saw it next, it was so overwatered that the leaves were extremely saturated and a dark green color due to being filled with water. i had to throw 75% of it away cause there was no coming back. these leaves were the only ones left. it is producing its first growth in over two months. no better feeling than bringing it back to life. iâve left it in its nursery pot and gave it minimal repotting. i didnât want to shock the plant more than it already had been, but iâll repot if people think itâs best for the plant.

The Bigfoot X Velvet mask is doing pretty good after a little root problem, high humidity, nice most sphagnum and perlite with some feed and itâs sprouting roots with crazy! Canât wait to receive some larger leaves from this hybrid as it has striking dark velvety leaves, fused sinuses and striking white veining :)
