frank has had an odd life. He had two parents growing straight out of pot. Would constantly get sick. then frank started growing sideways. Out and away form the abusive household. He went as far as he could. Literally as soon as the parent leaves fully died. frank sprouted upwards and formed a new strong leaf as far away form the pot as possible. looks like he’s starting to have a new friend aswell. So happy!!

Is it weird to be excited about a plant that’s not even yours? My work has planters everywhere and one of the floors has this big monstera shooting out two new leaves! I walk by it once a week to see if they’ve unfurled lol

Ever buy a pot with regret?

Self: But the pot looked so cute. 😊
Miranda Plant: Bless your heart. No drainage. Non-porous. No matching pale cerulean saucer (why is no one ready.) Our own little coffins for our trip on the Titanic II. And you thought “So cute” that we’d die in this.😒

Drainage. Ok, yes there was no drainage hole at all. Not even a stopper covering a hole, nor a dent to place a hole. I carefully used my Dremel and I put an adequate single hole in the bottom of the small pot.
No matching pale cerulean saucer. Well with no hole it didn’t need a saucer. I keep looking for one though out of the bargain bins.
Non-porous. Ok yes not as porous as clay but I only throughly water the succulent when the dirt has turned to rock because it’s so dried out.
There are two types succulents in here. That tiny bud, lower right, was a leaf that fell on the floor from a different succulent and so I threw it in this pot too.
All living in this pot for at least a year.

These are just a few of my plants that are really just showing off. Upping the game for the rest of my collection. 🥰🥰

Found someone on social media who made an orchid tree and really wanted to replicate it. I made some small adjustments, like using driftwood I found on our local beach and here’s the finished product. I absolutely love it.
I wish I could give credit to the person who originally posted it, but unfortunately I can’t find the post anymore.

Well, I’ve managed to kill off another herb. That makes 3 herbs in the graveyard in a very short amount of time. First it was Dill, then Basil and now Oregano. I’m starting to feel like a miserable failure when it comes to herbs. 😢

Flying some new plants home. On a layover I took them out for a little photo shoot. Most of my plants I purchase when traveling since I live in the subarctic. Got 7 new babies at a fabulous nursery in Saskatoon SK.

Do anyone else's plants just look like a giant hodgepodge of a mess? None of my pots match. My plants are put in the place they'll do the best with no symmetry whatsoever. Lol. All of my plant places in my house look like this. Lol
