Queen Anthurium growth April 25 - July 25. It seems Antherium love Leca, the growth has been really good, with thick noodle like roots. The biggest leaf is a foot long but has some damage. Now in 12.5cm pot.
Hii I my brother got me a new monstara plant for my birthday any tips for her (she also needs a name ) thank you
I got a very cute varigated bear paw in the mail today!! Got it from an Etsy store~ it came in great condition, for a succulent coming from CA to NJ. Its name is Hubert 😊 gave him some water and plopped him in the sun to bask hehe luckily its a little cloudy so he won't get burnt after a week in a dark box
Guilty😅☝️
So I have had this Bristle Brush cactus for maybe 18mos, was using an inferior plant app the first 6 months-underwatered/too little light then, maybe? Now with Planta she’s looking fatter & happier but uh oh, she can’t stand on her own. Is there such a thing as a cactus collar to help her stand or should I let her bend at will? Shown here propped up on a basket handle & chopstick….I used to have a very phallic looking one (forgotten the type) similar to this that grew 2’ long over 10yrs, I let it bend. But it didn’t have this waspish look which seems dangerous. Thanks for any ideas!!!
Found this cutie at Walmart clearance for $4 !?!
Just arrived today!! A little nervous, a lot excited. Another first for me. This plant is pretty wild!!

Earlier in the year I shared a photo of one of my favourite plants- Triostar Stromanthe. Pic on the left. It’s still doing really well. One of the stalks (petioles) is growing vertically (compared to the others) and is much taller and thicker. Is this hyponastic growth? If so, what would you recommend?
I'm so happy that I decided to propagate and prune the original plant... The new entities are thriving in ways that I never saw the old plant manage. The first plant was gifted too me quite leggy and neglected and over a few years it never created a new growth pattern so I cut it in three. The mother's name is mildly PG-13 so I'll share her another time 🤭
I’m really getting into all the peperomia varieties, there’s soooo many! I’m very excited to have found this lovely Hope Peperomia 🪴😃
