Recently took a progress photo of one of my favorite plants from my collection, my âMona Lisaâ Lipstick Plant, Monique. Would love to turn this into a thread to see everyone elseâs lipstick and goldfish plants, so if you have one, please feel free to show yours off! đ (and Iâd love to see any other flowering species in spite of all this imminent winter weather) I consider them criminally underrated, and very low maintenance for a flowering houseplant. Highly recommend picking one up if youâre looking for a unique and pet-friendly addition to your collection. đž
I love the flowers on string of hearts so much
So....what's happening with these leaves? I thought when they turn like in this way it means they're trying to reach light? But the light is above them and they are turning downwards. Could it be the mirror behind there reflecting the light somehow? One is a monstera, one is a Florida ghost and the third is a heart leaf philodendron. Any input would be appreciated
Still growing
I thought FOR SURE my desire down plant was done for cause she got left out well beyond frost cause she was LITTERED with pests and unwanted them gone. All her top ponytail leaves are dry and crispy and being removed but I saw THIS today đđŒ
This is my latest acquisition. I am wondering if I should separate each section. I bought it thinking it would good in a terrarium. Iâm also wondering how fast they grow. It must be very young because it does not have a bulbus trunk yet.
AphidLion Chatgpt says, âdevouring an aphid in its curved, sickle-shaped jaws up front made purely for violence (to pests). Observe itâs long, tapered, little alligator-looking body, and itâs spiky camouflage on its back (sometimes they stack dead bugs and dust on themselves like goth armor).â This little guy sounds hardcore and itâs just a little larva still! I hope I get to see it grow and mature into a hardworking contributor to the bugsiety (society but for bugs). Def happy to have him/her/them/it back anytime âșïžđđđȘČđ
Got this nuclear green about a month ago. A little interested but mostly irritated by its new leaf. If this happened later down the line I wouldnât be so irritated but come on! I got it for how beautiful the variegation was. Iâll see how this plays out

Bought myself a challenging plant in honor of completing 1 year sober
This beauty finally bloomed. Sheâs breathing taking. Does anyone know if this is technically a double bloom or what type of bloom. The box said single but doesnât look like a single.
Look at the new plant I got!
