I was never interested in Anthuriums until i was offered this Clari as a replacement for a different plant a shop couldnât get/sell. But Iâm so proud of this leaf it pushed, it took about a month after the last one. đ (Hand for scale bc I really thought it wasnât gonna be any bigger than the last leaf LOL)

Day 1 vs Day 111 (today!) Streptocarpus ionanthus aka African Violet! So cute and small âŻÌ« from Brooklyn Botanical Garden in NYC⊠if anyone knows the cultivar of this one please donât hesitate to leave a comment..đ (Yes her name is literally âTinyâ LOL)

Iâm still working on perfecting the set up. But here are my indoor plants! (Minus the kitchen rehab and air plant) Iâm ordering a grow light fixture to hand down the corner behind the tv for my monstera to sit under. I also intend to have a wooden stove board made to sit over my storage cabinet since the humidifier is perched precariously on the very edge đŹ

Sooo I did a little shop at IKEA đïžâš and saw these little cute bowls â 3 for ÂŁ5 đ I couldnât believe it!! Anyway, of course I didnât use them for food⊠I turned them into plant pots instead đ€đȘŽ I also bought an already-made terrarium that had a Gollum Jade đż and a succulent, but I felt so bad just throwing the original setup away đ so I repotted them into these bowls. I know Iâm probably going to get the whole âno drainage holes!! đŹâ spiel⊠but honestly I didnât even buy these plants intentionally, so Iâm just admiring the look for now âš Hopefully they donât die on me đ€đ but Iâm also kind of an underwaterer, so I have faith theyâll survive for a bit at least đđ until I can maybe rehome them properly later. Anywayyy I also made a cutting of my Hoya mathilde đž and popped it into one of the bowls too!! It looks so cute I canât even đđ«¶âš

Hello all relatively new plant dad here. I started last November with some clippings from my mom four of them to be exact a purple heart a prayer plant a croton and a couple succulents. Itâs finally nice enough here in Chicago to get them outside. Bought this cute little shelf and have also added (more than) a few to my collection! Really enjoying this and finding it very therapeutic!
