I work in a hospital setting with some bright window (sills) but these babies were sitting neglected and leggy in bone dry “soil” looked more like dirt from a playground very sandy-in a shady corner. I asked if we had a plant mom, and nope nobody wanted to care for them so I took them all home dumped the old soil, submerged the plants in water to soak while I washed their pots and made a cactus mix of perlite and garden soil. I repotted them and look how cute they are!! Hoping they explode in size now that they are refreshed!

Cactus Newbie here! So I’ve had this Prickly Pear for over a year. I actually just compared to pictures a year ago and this plant has grown quite a lot! I took this picture today, my question is what type of pots is best for cactus? Terra Cotta? With loose succulent/cactus potting mix? When I repot it should I put a post or something in there to help support it? Honestly over the last year it’s stood up a lot taller/nicer than when I first received it.

Put together this plant wall for my sister in law’s plant themed baby shower this weekend and I think it turned out so pretty 😍🪴

Can anyone tell me why my rhaphi tetrasperma is yellowing at the bottom? Is it bc of them being older leaves? Or is there an issue? Thanks for everyone’s help ahead of time! ☺️

Hi everyone, I’m very new at keeping plants and am very excited about having had these plants for a few months ☺️✨ these are my favorites and I feel very connected to them, especially the satin pothos which is a replacement for the one I had to leave in my previous city when I moved last year. I am really enjoying seeing everyone’s plant photos and learning more about how to keep plants healthy and happy!

This prayer plant tripled its size in six months. I propagated a piece, and it looks like I'll do another node soon. 😊

Photo overload. Few more babies. Got more propagation items for the window that I will complete this week. But here it is so far. Got some brown spots on some. I was using the mister quite frequently, I’ve slowed down on that, hope it helped any other advice.
