since some people are so butthurt over being wrong they delete comments, as plant owners we should always be cautious of the terms we are using to identify our plants. This plants nickname is “dumb cane” which is extremely offensive when you take the 2 seconds needed to google why it is called that. With the way the world revolves around us being chronically online, we all have the time and resources at our literal fingertips to research. So for those in this group that want to get so uptight over being uneducated, you’re literally on a plant app where numerous people constantly comment that, GOOGLE IS FREE. Some people seriously don’t understand that this app is for serious growers that don’t want to see childish comments and behavior. Stop posting nonsense when you don’t even take a second to think, “maybe i can easily find this answer on google” seriously people.

When I bought my rubber tree, there was a small sprout in the same nursery pot and it has gotten much bigger. Looks like I also got a 2-for one! This is Jack (short for hijack) single he just highjacked my Ficus Tineke!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone who knows a lot about ginsig ficus trees can tell me what these white parts are on her base and soil? Is this some to worry about?
