1st floor window facing. Right now direct sunlight does not stream into these windows until after 1PM and the direct sun stops coming in around 5:30PM. And each day less and less direct light. The second floor windows, directly above these windows, gets direct sunlight for at least 3 additional hours because the houses across the street do not block the sun like they do to the 1st floor. And that design, setup, was done on purpose by architects back in 1890, not just for uniformity. No house should be able to block the sun unequally from others.
