After reading everyone’s horror stories about fiddle leaf figs I was genuinely scared to own one. I came across one on sale and figured why not. I’ve welcomed this child into my home and she has impressed me. Other that a few brown edges she is already giving me new growth. To anyone who is scared of trying one, I say bite the bullet and try it. For me she had done well and is an absolute gorgeous addition to any houseplant collection.
hi! i’ve heard ppl talk about the horrors of fiddles as well but never personally experienced them! i’ve had this darling for about 8 months and she has done absolutely wonderfully for me. she’s about 5’3” i’d say.. i have her by my east facing window here and she has thrived. i only water when the top few inches is dry and i mist her occasionally when the sun is not directly on her. good luck! they sure are beautiful!
I’m definitely glad I did not let the horrors keep me from getting one. I absolutely love having mine.
