Cut roses ❌ Rose bush 😍😍😍😍😍 My finacée surprised me last night with this gorgeous mini rose bush to add to my collection! I’m so excited to see it grow!! 🥰

    My husband got me a mini rose several years ago. I planted it in my little patio garden and it blooms beautifully every year. I am not sure if all miniature rose varieties are Hardy. I live in Iowa so this one tolerates our cold Winters.

      Awww how sweet!!! 😍😍 I hope mine grows as nicely as yours does! I’m going to put it in a terracotta pot and set it outside come spring. I’m up in southern Ontario and I know my mum up in northern ON overwinters hers in her garden (but she has proper garden roses) and they come up every year.

    I'm not sure how cold your Winters get up there but I think it would do much better in the ground than in a pot. I don't do anything to overwinter mine other than cut it back a little and maybe a little mulch but otherwise it's just exposed to the weather. If you have to use a pot make sure the pot grows a little with the plant. Mine gets about 18 or 20 in tall and it's maybe 15 or 18 in wide.

      Our winters can get pretty cold. It’s currently -3° right now but it’s also snowing so it’s warm out. Going down to -18° later this week. I think I’d prob bring them back into the house during fall to overwinter I donno if they’d do ok in the garage with my tulips/peony/etc. I’d love to have a garden to put them in, but our frontage is very small and our backyard doesn’t get enough sun.
