     Quick question—are there rocks sitting on top of the potting soil? I’ve found that although they can help with fungus gnats, they sometimes trap moisture and keep the soil from drying out as quickly, which can affect the roots.

     It definitely looks much nicer than just soil! I would be diligent about checking the moisture below the rocks before watering
