alocasia don’t want to dry out. mine does really well in a 1:1 peat and perlite in a nursery pot. you’ll want to unbind them or you’ll stunt (or prevent) growth, as new leaves emerge from the leaf before it

좋아요 1개Lovely plant. Alocasia stingray as someone else said! People either really love or really hate alocasia! I love them! They love me back 😂 I was told I’m one of the chosen! I have mine under a grow light in my chunky aroid mix. I let it dry out completely as I’ve always been warned they are prone to rot! I bottom water. They produce corms so if you decide to separate these plants (can’t tell how many) don’t be alarmed to find them! Mine have never been temperamental but everyone has their own experiences!!! I wish mine was this big already! lol
좋아요 1개Oh and support them with plant stakes if the leaves weigh down when you unbind. Now that I’m looking it might just be one massive plant 😍🤣

All my alocasia’s I’ve transferred into fluval stratum and they love it. I also have them all in a glass greenhouse cabinet with high humidity. Alocasia’s loveeee humidity
