My first batch of plants 90% are from rescue boxes! And I’m a complete novice and learning, currently finding the perfect spots to match the care tips whilst living on a dog crate until I find a more suitable spot

When I was super new to growing a lot of different plants, I made many mistakes in overwatering and transplanting unnecessarily. Oh and also putting plants in pots that were too big. Oh and not making sure they were getting enough light… lol! Lots of mistakes I made! Have fun🪴
1 me gustaThank you. What’s a good time to move these baby’s up a size then? Is there a way to tell when it needs a repot?
1 me gustaWhen a root system is really established is on way. Some plants like to be more root-bound than others and I have learned from Tanner the Planter (google him or look for his youTube videos) to usually not transplant in winter. Seriously, I have learned so much from him and now have 68 plants.
0 Me gustaGotcha, I’ve got one anthurium that looks like the roots want to come out the nursery pot I’ll hold fire on any repotting as they’ll need to get used to the environment
0 Me gustaOh and only change the pot size up an inch or so from the size of the root ball.
