A friend gifted this plant to me a while ago. I have no idea what it is and I would love to know :) Oh! And does it look healthy? Any tips for maintaining this kind of plant???

mollyit’s a peperomia obtusifolia! they like bright indirect light, but can tolerate maybe a medium light. since the leaves are so thick, you don’t have to water as frequently. i would say check at the 1.5 or 2 week mark for watering again. and you can always grab the leaves to see if it needs water! if they’re solid and don’t bend if you try to lightly fold it, it doesn’t need water. if it folds easily, it may need water now or soon. have fun with your beautiful plant!
