Brought home a fishbone cactus today! Turns out he had six roommates and didn’t tell anyone. đŸ«  During repotting, I found out it wasn’t just one plant but a whole crew of individual stems living undercover in one pot. 😂 I’ve now got them all in their own places and I’m propagating five leaves for the first time! Hoping for the best. đŸȘŽ

    this is how all plants are. they’re individual systems in one pot to have a fuller plant (: of course you can split it, but it is not necessary. the larger pot, i have a feeling might drown out the plant. cacti have small root systems and don’t need that much space. if you choose to leave it, i would water it waaay less. it should be a fun experiment! good luck!
