Hello! I’m brand new to this plant mom thing. My neighbor recently gifted me this Fantasy Venice Nanouk plant. What do the brown spots mean? Any tips would be helpful! I don’t want this pretty to die!

They can get the spots from water on the leaves, or chlorine in their water. Or, sometimes it just seems to happen sometimes.

SnowstormBrown spots just happen. Even when you bottom water to try and avoid water on the leaves… 😒😒😒 they’re incredibly simple care… but surprisingly finicky. I can’t get mine to stand up straight, mine likes to trail and be gangly.

Plant Newbie👋 Plant Newbie here! I almost exclusively bottom water. Mine is still young/short, but I made a support from somewhat thick but still hand bendable craft wire. 🪴
