I would like to share my pride and joy. I created this fairy garden to honor and remember my daughter Joana who died unexpectedly at the age of 26 from a missed blood clot. That was 17 years ago and I hand never gardened a day in my life. I learned about fairy gardens after her death and knowing how much she’d loved them I created this one in my backyard. I put it up every June and take it down in early October as my I live in NH and it wouldn’t survive the winters here. I’ve been told it’s magical and amazing. Hope you enjoy it too.

    It is beautiful!! I’m so sorry for your loss. I had blood clots in both my lungs when I was 17 and it was such a scary experience.

      Thank you for your kindness. I’m so happy for you that yours were treated and that you survived. The issue with my daughter was the hospital she went to on a Sunday afternoon didn’t have an ultrasound technician on call and instead of keeping her and treating her they sent her home. She got out of bed the next am and was gone. However I’ve come to terms with it as it’s been 17 years and I now do public speaking engagements on grief. 🥰❤️

      How kind of you and thank you for that kindness. Visitors tell me it’s magical and amazing. It’s doubled in size since I started it 10 years ago but now I feel it’s the perfect size and full of joy. 🥰❤️
