For anyone that saw my previous posts, I added these grow lights to my set up to keep the guys on the shelves from getting too leggy, i have them dimmed a bit too.

a long time and a moisture meter! i’ve had her since 2021, this will be her third spring! also she’s been in this pot since i got her(after i got home i cleaned her roots off and potted her in well draining soil)…i’ve never been told to repot by planta and she doesn’t seem root bound yet, maybe next year lol

they are actually very drought tolerant plants, i used to water once a month, but since moving and needing to put my plant stand where it is, it’s up against a radiator which makes my soil dry out a lot quicker, i’m watering now closer to 2-3 times a month, but you want to water only when the soil is bone dry. to put it simply, they do not like moisture lol, a good soak here and there and she’s good. a good way to tell if you need to water and are unsure, is if the pearls look “puckered”(pic shows juicy pearls and one strand is puckered from dying off and being propagated back into the pot, i opt for a moisture meter for my dirt though
