Found someone on social media who made an orchid tree and really wanted to replicate it. I made some small adjustments, like using driftwood I found on our local beach and here’s the finished product. I absolutely love it. I wish I could give credit to the person who originally posted it, but unfortunately I can’t find the post anymore.

Depending on how you do it (and watering practicality), you can mount the roots of orchids straight to the branches. Cork branches are the best option because they retain moisture better than most (driftwood dries very quickly, so if you use it, add plenty of sphagnum around the roots.) You can also replicate how they grow in the wild by mounting with the leaves pointed downwards. It helps water roll off them. The flowers will drape down too if you do it that way. Your upright setup looks great; i just thought you might find mounting fun for the future

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I really would love to try mounting them. We attached them securely, but wanted to be able to take them down for watering and overall care, so it’d be easy to change some things on it. I already looked up cook wood sheets and thought I could wrap that around part of a branch, then mount the orchid to that. I’m assuming I could wrap the roots with some sphagnum and attach it with fishing line. Thank you again for this idea!
