Update on the Etsy orderâŠthey gave me a fake tracking number đ
It could possibly be because it hasnât been dropped to the shipper yet. I get that sometimes when they give the shipper the expected info, but havenât yet made it to the ship point.
5 gillningarI totally get where youâre coming from though. It does say shipped. Etsy is kinda sketchy at times. I ordered flower seeds and got something totally different than what I ordered.
2 gillningarI have yet to have any problems with Palm Street. Iâve bought probably close to a hundred plants from different sellers on there. But watch outâŠthe auction setting can be addicting! lol
0 gillningarItâs an international scam seller. I wish Etsy cared and would put effort into removing these shops. They add long shipping in hopes you forget about your order and to delay the refund process. At least itâs only over $12.
1 gillaI sell on Etsy, and it automatically creates a tracking number and gives the "shipped" notification as soon as the seller prints the label, which could be before they even package it. I wouldn't worry too much.
3 gillningarDid you msg the seller? Etsy's requirements can be a bit trash. And the sellers need to ship almost immediately to keep standing. Even though it may take a few days for them to actually ship. Id just msg the seller. I have been scamned on Etsy before, but its been a completely fake tracking number. Where you enter it into the shipping business site and it comes back no match.
1 gillaI did
0 gillningarI will also say Etsy is horrible AF to get any help from. Especially if the seller put like a 2 month shipping time. It's so that any 30 day policies expire. It's why I always pay with PayPal on Etsy. And if they don't take PayPal or have those long ship times it's a big red flag.
2 gillningarIâve had one fake sale from Etsy with the long shipping from outside the US. I got my money refunded from Etsy after the wait time. The seller closed shop long before my package was scheduled to arrive. But, about 80% of my plant purchases have been from Etsy. They have the plants Iâm looking for at competitive prices. Iâll keep using them as long as the disputes are properly handled.
2 gillningarI've bought hundreds of plants from Etsy and Palmstreet
0 gillningarI also love the ability to buy from overseas online
0 gillningarNo point in messaging. If they respond at all theyâll just say itâs going through customs. Biggest red flag here is if the price is too good, itâs a scam.
0 gillningarThat's not true necessarily, cuz I have gotten dirt cheap plants from private sellers or over seas.
0 gillningarHave you tried out Palm Street yet? There are some wonderful sellers in there. I use the Nursery Project USA and the Green Escape a lot. I have yet to be taken by anyone Iâve used there. Tons of sellers.
0 gillningarSorry for a repost about Palm Street. Didnât realize I had already mentioned it. đ„ž
