Gosh, thanks! I used to practice yoga in the middle until I added so many lights. ps The $59 distiller I got is great. I worried it would be a hassle, but it’s a few hours for a gallon of water.

I wish! I currently rent and gave away my cold box because my patio gets at least 120 in July. I actually stood inside a greenhouse at Costco today and sighed ha.

Thank you. It’s an IKEA collage that I rearranged so many times to predict the sun throughout the year (e.g. this photo). And then it became South America in one place, South Africa in another during my North American summers. And on haha.

Aw, thanks. I love them, but I’m not in love with the secret mealie bug society that came with the whole deal ha. (I talked about it here a lot last year, but there are 0 spiders in my apartment complex (it’s more like a gigantic hotel) and my best option - after trying all of the bug solutions - was to release hundreds of ladybugs in my house. It was funny and weird.)

Did it work? Lady bugs are good luck! Where did you get hundreds of them?

Home Depot and a couple local nurseries had them for a little bit last spring. However, I went back to get more and was told it hadn't been a great year for ladybugs due to heat.e

It did work for a bit. I watched ladybugs eat the heck out of mealies and eggs, but I think some of the various pest treatments I put in some pots ended them. It's a juggling act.

That looks so close to the one you're referencing (Tephrocactus geometricus), but I think you have this one, which is Tephrocactus articulatus. I THINK.
