Oh, ok. So you’re new to it? Hmm 🤔 ok here’s some basics for it. I keep mine in a north windowsill, but my north ones are pretty bright. West and east facing windows are great for them. They’re very sensitive to overwatering and edema, so don’t let them get cold after watering them, and let their soil dry out. They need a well draining soil. Mine is in a mix of Espoma’s Cactus and Succulent and All-Purpose mixes (20% cactus 80% all purpose). I’ve also heard great things about FoxFarm’s Ocean Forest Soil, but I use Espoma almost exclusively. Avoid anything miracle grow. It’ll kill this plant. Essentially, I add some of the cactus mix to the all-purpose mix so it’s not just in peat, moss, or fine soil, and the cactus mix has bark chips and perlite to help with drainage. You can just get an all-purpose potting mix and buy a bag or orchid bark and bag of perlite to add to the mix.

I bottom water all of my peperomia. Helps prevent attracting pests and prevent overwatering. If you’re new to that, look up “how to bottom water a plant” on YouTube. I use distilled/bottled water for mine, since I was warned they can be sensitive to tap water. Just means I refill my watering can with water from my fridge instead of water from the sink. If it starts to flower, you can either clip the flowers off as far down the stem as you can cup or leave them to grow. Clipping the flowers off helps tell the plant to focus on growing leaves instead, but if you like the flowers, they naturally detach themselves when they’re done pollinating, so don’t panic if you check on it and the flowers suddenly fell off. That’s perfectly normal, and I think it’s a pretty cool trait. If the leaves droop or wrinkle or curl, that’s either cause it’s under watered, overwatered, or not getting enough humidity. If it needs more humidity, keep it away from air vents and drafty windows, and make a humidity tray (look up how to make a humidity tray) or invest in a lil room humidifier. Don’t mist it! Do not. Mist it. It doesn’t like water getting on its leaves. I think that’s about it. Wanda’s been pretty low maintenance for me since I repotted her and added cactus mix to her soil. Hope this helps! Good luck!
