Figgie Smalls, the fiddle-leaf fig.
Figgie Smalls, the fiddle-leaf fig.
Ive heard they die easily, is that true?
1 me gustaNot so far. I’ve had him four months. I picked a spot with bright indirect light during the day and left him where he was. I was warned he’d have some initial shock and lose leaves, but not to move him. So, I lost maybe 6 leaves and he’s been fine ever since.
1 me gustaOkay, thank you
1 me gustaThey are not for a newbie that’s for sure!
2 Me gustaWell… It was one of my first plants… I think if you watch a couple YouTube videos, you’ll be ok. ;)
1 me gustaIve always wanted one, but its toxic to cats☹️
0 Me gustaHahahaha!! I wish I had thought of that name! Mine is Tall Collin
1 me gustaDamn that’s a beautiful fig! How long have you had it?
1 me gustaTY! About 4 months.
0 Me gustaWhere did you get it? I find that big flfs are rarer in stores
1 me gustaMy bestie thought I needed to make plants a hobby and brought it to me. I can ask her!
0 Me gustaCool
1 me gustaOh wow! Big box store. Home Depot. That surprised me! No pests, great condition. She said they had just wheeled in a few pallets of them while she happened to be shopping with her partner. :o She does tend to be impulsive. Lol!
0 Me gustaThat’s an amazing fiddle leaf fig. Love the name. I can only hope mine will grow that large. Oh wait, I don’t have the space for one that large, lol. But still…
1 me gustaThat was my first thought when my bestie showed up with this bad boy (taller than me… I’m not that tall though). My lil condo… I literally said… where the heck?!? lol!
0 Me gustaGoals!

It looks great, and good luck. I don't think I will buy one ever again. After 4 years, and a new grow light, my died very fast thereafter. I tried to save her and propogate her, but she was a goner.
0 Me gusta:(. I’m so sorry to hear that.
1 me gusta
Me too. She was a gift from a coworker.
1 me gustaLove it!
