So proud of myself!! 😀 Saved my rubber plant!! It was a Christmas present off my sister and I was determined to keep it going 💚… is now a good time to plant or do I wait?

    I’m no expert, my suggestion is too wait a little longer. Then replant.

      This had occurred to me… maybe when the leaf has unfurled? 🤷🏼‍♀️

    How long did it take you to grow roots? I just chopped down my rubber tree yesterday.

      Maybe like 6 weeks or so, maybe a little more. Been a slow process. If you’re gonna put in water don’t wait for it to callus put it in right away. By letting it callus over is stopping the plant accessing water… I did this first and nothing happen so re-chopped and voila, we got roots!

      Oh great - thanks for the input. I did put it right in water so fingers crossed I will have roots by the end of the summer.
