Has anyone had success growing a pineapple? I rooted her about a year ago!

    Here is my pineapple, this spring will be 2 years, I’m hoping to see a pineapple 🍍. They say it takes at least 2 years +

      Love this!! I just started a couple more tops in water and put another in dirt

      Same here, I decided to start another one. They do make lovely house plants anyway.

    Keep checking the roots and repotting into a new pot about 2 inches wider each time. The one I grew produced a pineapple when the roots were big enough for an 18 inch wide pot. It took about 2 years. It was in full sun on the deck getting high humidity, heat and organic fertilizer.

    I love my pineapples and I propagate tops whenever I can!
