   Theses pots are pretty big for small plants. The pot should be 2 inches bigger than the root ball.

     Thanks for the advice! One Pothos had been VERY ready to be potted and probably wouldn’t have fit into a smaller pot for very long though

   Your soil looks dense and the pots are too big like the person above already said. You might get some yellow leaves and possible root rot.
