Two of my favorites! Anyone have any advice for propagating my Scindapsus ‘moonlight’? I have cuttings in water but they will not root, been waiting for almost 2 months

Root powder maybe? If the stems have nodes like the pothos. They should just grow roots in water automatically. Within 2 weeks. Sun light as well.

i don’t have any scindapsus but in my experience everything roots faster in perlite. use either medium perlite or rinsed fine perlite so the dust doesn’t suffocate the roots. a perlite/sphagnum blend or pure sphagnum moss works too

I will use rooting hormone powder and SuperThrive when roots take too long to grow in water. Rooting hormone power doesn’t mix well with water. It makes the water cloudy. You have to change the water each week. It’s not pretty but it works.

Agreed. Or you can root powder and place in moist soil.
