Why is my alocasia so leggy and not hearty enough to hold up the leaves?

    Etioliation most likely, plant isn't getting enough light so the petiole elongated to hopefully push the leaves in a brighter spot

    Add a grow light running at least 12 hours if that’s the permanent spot. It’s too dark in that spot.
