In the process of fixing this! Had her since May. Why is it that’s it’s gone more bushy, I liked the way it looked with a few big leafs and longer flowers. Would it be down to amount of light?

The yellowing plant with dry spots in the second photo looks unhealthy based on the condition and the small amount of leaves. The plant could have been concentrating on putting out flowers and seeds before it died. The fertilizer could be higher in nitrogen compared to the other chemicals. The NPK ratio on the fertilizer label shows the percentages of nitrogen, potassium and potash. Higher percentages of nitrogen promotes root growth and the growth of leaves. Fertilizers with twice the ratio of potassium, the middle number P, compared to nitrogen promotes flowering. I don’t recommend reducing the lighting to prevent yellowing and leaf dropping. You can thin out the leaves to meet your aesthetic goals. Check your fertilizer NPK ratio to see if you need to change to one with a twice the potassium compared do the nitrogen percentage to promote flowering. 🪴🍀
