Ooooh I haven’t heard of blister variegation before. So it’s like a difference in the leaf texture caused by mutation? Cool! Reminds me of lighting scars 😮

So basically it’s air pockets that between the outer leaf membrane and the chlorophyll layer, technically it’s not a mutation? I’m not sure of the science but from what I read the variegation isn’t the mutation. The mutation I was referring to was the lobes, it’s hard to tell here but the lobes are basically indented back forming that curve near the petiole.

Oh I see! I’ll have to read more about it. Always fun learning new plant things lol. Also cool with the lobes! I’m sure I don’t need to ask you to update us as it matures šŸ˜‚ I love how anthurium leaf shape changes as they mature So far my only anthuriums are a lux and a hardware store mystery, probably plowmanii. They’re both still juvenile I would say. The lux pushed out its first leaf with me a month or two ago. It’s ripped or malformed at the bottom, but I hear that’s fairly typical of the first leaf in new conditions. I still looooove the quilted texture though. Anthuriums are so great ā˜ŗļø

Of course, and that’s awesome!! If u send a pic of the mystery plant I can try help identify. Yeahhh anthuriums with leaves getting ready to pop and then switched to new environment will usually have some sorta damage
