My peace lily is not doing so well in water, how far up should the water come?

Hi! I have a few peace lilies that live in water. They love it. I usually fill it up to the root line or just above. Mine are not finicky. They will grow leaves/pups even while drowning in water. Do u use any kind of plant food? I do add Shultz plant food with each change of water. I only change the water about once a month. It may be a light issue. 🧐 Can u post a pic? In a few minutes I’m going to post in ‘Show My Plants’ section a reminder of how I transferred this peace lily to water. I will post pics of my process. This picture is from yesterday after I changed the water and gave it a little shower. 💚 She’s super happy. She’s growing babies under the water line. Good luck Triple!!
