This adorable little variegated Bear’s Paw Cactus arrived in the mail from Etsy yesterday 🄰 I’m obsessed with the little pink tips to her paws. Still working on picking a name for it, but I’m so excited to watch it grow. Feel free to turn this into a thread if anyone else would like to share their little bear’s paw cacti 🌵 The seller even added a perfect little Panda Plant (Kalanchoe tomentosa) to my box as a free gift. It was such a wonderful little surprise. I’ll attach a photo of that one in the comments. She lost a couple of leaves from the trip, but I was expecting much worse given the ride from CA to PA. Just needed some fresh soil and a dry paintbrush to get that jostled soil off her leaves. I’d love to hear anyone’s suggestions for what I should name her 😊

I was pretty amazed it was so intact given the trip from California to my house. It got here within a week of ordering it. I was expecting a little rehabbing being needed upon arrival or it being in much worse condition. Lost about 6-8 leaves from the trip but hey, I’ll take it! 😊 I really hope it flowers one day 🄹 I finally got my goldfish plant to start blooming this week, so I’m going to set it in my windowsill with that and my holiday cactus so they can all be one blooming bunch 🌺

Your new bears paw looks like a perfect plant. My Bears Paw. And two flowers. A regular panda plant. And in this display are three white pandas and a chocolate soldier panda.

They look great! 😃 Do you have any tips on how to get your bear’s paw to flower?

I had to edit the comment. So look again. It’s flowered several times. But to me it looks like a plant that wouldn’t tolerate bright light, but that little guy is parked under a very bright Sansi grow. He seems to thrive there.

I’ve currently got mine under some grow lights until I set a spot up for them in my windowsill’s shelving unit. I’d love to see one of them flower someday 😊

Looks great! 😃 I love jades. They’re one of my favorites. I might have a few too many of them at this point, but you can never have too many jades, in my opinion šŸ˜‚ Hope yours treats you as well as mine do 😊

Me too! I really loved how pink it already was from the nursery I bought it from. 😊 That’s kinda my favorite thing about the variegated jades, cause they pink up really well in my south facing windows ā˜€ļø

I’ve got a trailing jade and I’m here to say that they are criminally underrated houseplants. Mine’s named Julie and I adore her. They’re not very fast growers, but they are very easy to care for. I’ve heard their flowers smell like cheese, though, so I’m curious about how I’ll feel about it if it blooms someday šŸ˜‚ Hope you find one 😊
