My bear paw cactus just bloomed for the first time this week! ๐ Thought I should share for anyone else curious about what the blooms look like. Mine have a bit of a pinky apricot tinge to the tips of the petals, which might be from the grow light mineโs been under, but Iโve seen online that the flowers can be a light buttery yellow or a light cherry blossom pink.

Me too! Mine is pretty small though so not sure when Iโll see the first bloom. But good to know what I can look forward to ๐
2๊ฐ ์ข์์ Iโve had mine for about a year now, but I bought it when it was pretty mature, probably at least 8-12 months old then, so Iโd say it probably needs to be at least a year old to be mature enough to bloom. Mine started flowering after I tested letting it dry out a little longer and moving it to the grow light after spending most of its time in a south-facing windowsill. This is how big she was when I got her vs. how big she is now (right before she started blooming). I believe the biggest factors to getting one to bloom is age, not size, and having a change in light, fertilizer, or watering to trigger the start of the flowering process.
