5 LikesLovely!😍 I got my first scindapus last summer and was surprised how well they grow even as the weather conditions changed. They just continuously grow looking gorgeous without any drama. They are very patient with me when I’m late with water/fertilizer. I can’t recommend them enough!

It is a very easy plant, totally agree, drama free even with some neglect. This one lives in my bathroom and the lighting isn’t super great …and the biggest shocker to me is it’s still in its nursery pot in the original nursery soil for almost 2 years. Some of my best healthiest looking plants I have not repotted when bringing home for many months to years. I really do think leaving them alone until they hardcore adapt to their new environment is important.

I swear I love plants like this! And I fully believe letting the plant do their own thing is the way to go!!
2 LikesMine are all in the original pots and same soil. Why mess with perfection!

Yeah, I do think a lot of people fuss with their plants too often and then the plants start to struggle. I think it all comes down to patience. It takes years for a plant to look full and lush. I feel like the effort of having plants is an underestimated effort, you have to be ready for weekly regular maintenance for the life of the plant and if you have a lot of plants it can equal hours a day. I have around 100 individual plants and need to spend 30 minutes to an hour each day to keep up with the rotation of care across them all. Good thing for me plant-care is my self-care.
