How do I get her to stop leaning so much? Can I take the top off and propagate? I’ve never dealt with needing to downsize an aloe, it normally had pups.

Are you rotating the pot every week or 2? This is the best way to keep them growing upright, as they’ll always lean towards the light. I turn my plants about a quarter turn every time I notice they’re starting to lean one way or another. You can also use a plant stake to help it stand upright!

Also yes, you can cut the top off to propagate aloe plants — though I have never done this. Hopefully someone will see this who has 😄

Sure thing! For what it’s worth, aloe is one of the plants that can be propagated from both stem cuttings and individual leaf cuttings, just be sure to let the cut end callous over before proceeding with your preferred propagation method. 👍🏻
