I was gifted a spider plant a couple months ago and I think I’m doing something wrong because it’s beginning to turn yellow towards the base. The leaves are also thinning and it doesn’t seem as full. Am I overwatering? Underwatering? Should I repot it?

I wouldn’t repot. The pot looks fine for three plants that size. I would add perlite to the potting mix to get good drainage. Spider plants don’t like sitting in wet soil too long. Let the water completely dry out before watering again. Spider plants have thick finger like roots that hold more water than the common tropical plant. Move it to a place that has bright indirect sunlight or in an east window. It will need a grow light for 12 hours if you can’t get it 8 hours of sunlight. Fertilize every 2 weeks with 50% diluted fertilizer. 🪴🍀

@sunny thank you so much, I’ll do all of these things! Hopefully I can save it 🤞🏽
