I was regretting buying this plant because it had so many pests - which I didn’t notice until I brought her home. I had to chop nearly all the infested leaves off in April and look at her now!

beautiful recovery!! (:
3 likesI had a variegated jade plant arrive in the mail covered in EARWIGS. After a harrowing cleanup involving a hardcore soak in a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water, it perked up immediately and looked great within 3 days. Best of luck with your plant! It’s beautiful! Definitely proves with a little effort even the most pest infested plants aren’t lost hope.
1 likeVery pretty! Mine is a Stromanthe Triostar (aka. variegated ginger) named Ginger. I got her for the pink on the underside of the leaves.
1 likeThank you! The pink is so pretty!
0 likesMind if I ask what specific type of plant yours is? Love the variegation!
0 likesBeautiful!! How often do you water it? / Do you use distilled water? / What kind of light does it get? I’m struggling so much with mine, but seeing yours gives me hope.
0 likesI use tap water that usually sits out overnight and water it about every 10 days. I live in FL and it’s outside on a covered porch so only gets late afternoon direct sun but indirect sun most of the afternoon. I don’t mist because it’s humid enough here! They do seem to be difficult plants with papery leaves and prone to brown spots. Good luck with yours!
