Lately my cathalea’s leaves have been turning brown and curling and I’m not sure what is wrong. Any ideas?

Are you using tap water? What’s your humidity like?
0 Me gustaI use tap water for all my plants. It has been doing good the whole time I’ve had it until now. I had it in my living room and it was doing fine. Then I moved it into my bathroom and that’s where the issues started. So I moved it to my living room and it just hasn’t recovered. The humidity level is a lot higher in my bathroom.

Calathea’s usually don’t like tap water. I would use distilled, or treat your tap water with a water conditioner (like used in aquarium water). For humidity, grouping plants together or pebble trays or a humidifier. Also when you find a place it likes, leave it there. They can be fussy! I’ve kept three alive for the last three years. I’ve also killed three others. They’ve almost got me convinced to try again. They are SO pretty.
