New plants purchased today/a few days ago from the Fancy Free Nursery in Tampa! Loved that store, and so happy they survived the flight in my carry on (not pictured: philo micans)

0 J'aimeIs that a black velvet alocasia?
0 J'aimeYes!
1 j'aimeI had one of those but it died I was quite sad about it. Hopefully you'll have better luck with yours.
0 J'aimeI’m sorry to hear that! It’s my first one. I’ve heard they’re pretty finicky so…fingers crossed! 😅
0 J'aimeI just purchased several plants when I was visiting my parents in Tampa last week! Luckily, I only live 3 hours away by car, so I drove them home. Glad yours survived the flight!
1 j'aimeI was definitely nervous! Thank you! Congrats on your new plants :)
1 j'aimeif that last one is an elephant bush they're very hardy. I went through a period of depression where I didn't water my plants for 4 months and that was one of two that survived. it's one of those plants you can forget about and it'll keep growing.
0 J'aimeYep is an elephant bush, I’ve heard they’re very hardy!
