Does anyone have any tips for this polka dot plant? It’s gotten so tall and I honestly don’t know how to take care of it, it was gifted to me when it was only like an inch tall! Are this trailing or climbing plants? Do I need to get it support or just let the long ones fall?

Mine is probably twice the size and I just let my long ones fall. But I’m curious to see what everyone else does.

Mines been getting leggy too recently despite being directly under a grow light. I read in the internet you can prune them when they get leggy to keep them compact but so far mine hasn’t stayed small she’s getting leggy again. (Gave her long stems a cut and then moved her more/directly under the grow light) Perhaps there’s another experienced polka dot plant owner who can weigh in.

I always prune mine, eventually it got so leggy I chopped it all the way down to the baby leaves at the bottom. Now it’s pretty again ☺️ you can put the clippings in a terrarium

How long does it take to grow back after your prune?

They grow fast. Within a couple months it will fill out

    Here’s a water propagation I did that’s growing a baby toward the bottom now :) <3
