Can anyone help identify this beauty? My friend bought a pothos plant and when she sent me these pics I realized it's not a pothos 😂 Planta says it's a monstera, it could be, I just don't know. It's in an 8 inch pot and has grown very rapidly, she's had it for like a year and a half now. It looks like some kind of philodendron but I'm not THAT good at identifying plants lol

Maybe a philo giganteum? Definitely looks like a heart shaped philo.

I second the monstera deliciosa! And it definitely needs more light, to reach maturity! Here are two pictures of the same plant 2 months after giving her the light and support she deserves!

Thank you!!!! I thought this too but seeing your plant before and after definitely confirms it's a monstera! Also your plant is beautiful!

Seeing the long inner node spacing, I’d say it’s a Borsigniana (spelling may be incorrect) the small form. Deliciosa (large form) like the Thai is tighter, where this one pictured is like an Albo more like vining. I’m surprised there’s no fenestrations after pushing out all those leaves

There must be more plants in there taking a closer look.

This is false actually! Monstera deliciosa has a large form and small form. The small form is more common in box stores

I think it is very pretty just like that. Maybe you could propagate it so you have two versions of same plant!

Perhaps a monstera deliciosa or possibly a Rhaphidophora terrasperma

Looks like a Phil split leaf, but with no fenistrations. ;)
