Announcer: Just like the migrations of the Walrus populations seen in San Francisco, or the population of the Monarch butterflies, we begin to witness one of the other large migrations, quite possibly the largest. As the days grow shorter, and the nights longer, the plant world begins its great migration towards the best or longest source of light for the dwindling season of light. This strange migration not only moves along a horizontal plane but also on a vertical plane as the plant world does everything possible to remove itself from the shade of the other structures that may block the sun. And the most amazing thing is no one knows how they all get to the same migration spot year after year after year. Me: Ugg it’s not even October 1st yet! Why do I keep bringing you all in here? March 1st is 6 months away and the rest of the plant world inhabitants, the big ones, aren’t even hear yet. You all are taking up too much room already! Calgon take me away! 😫😫😫

Thank you. It continues to be the most inefficient setup for the past 4 to 5 years. Small window sill? Sure no problem. Plant on single plant stands? Sure no problem. Edge of tables? Sure no problem. What was that noise? The problem. The cat imagined there was nothing there when he tried to jump on the edge of the table to the window sill and knocked everything over. I’ll grab the vacuum. No problem. I need to get me one of those shelving units that has shelves in alternating spaces so that I can put it in front of the window as a tiered thing.

This was amazing to read! It also makes me so glad all of my potted plants are indoor only and under grow lights so I don't have to migrate anyone lol
